Over the years, our bathing time has changed a lot. Bath time with a baby definitely looks different than bath time for toddlers. When my children left the toddler stage, things looked different again.

But while all the changes are in, there are a few bad must-haves that have made the routine easier no matter how old the kids are.

This post is sponsored by Sivan Social. All comments and opinions are my own.

No matter how old your child is, developing a bath time is important. Whenever we dropped out of our routine, bathrooms were a big challenge for me.

Whether you bathe before bed or after school, find out what works best on your day. Once you've figured out the timing, there are some of the things I need to keep in the bathroom for kids to consider.

Bath toys that look like gemstones

When my kids were babies and toddlers, bath toys were always on my mind. They're great for keeping the little ones distracted while you do the actual bath.

But don't forget that your older children who are still bathing love to play too. I've found that freshening up the bath toys as the kids get older helps them become more interested in a bath.

So let her help you choose some toys for the bathroom and include them in the routine.

Baby Magic gentle cleansing gel

My kids love to have their own body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. They have their own small supply of products in the corner of the bathtub.

You will often find well-known Baby Magic products in our house. Baby Magic isn't just for babies! It's for the whole family! Baby Magic has been loved by protective parents for over 65 years.

The products are dermatologists recommended for baby's delicate skin. That makes me feel like using it on everyone! I also love that it's free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and dyes. Baby Magic cares for the skin with healthy ingredients.

Find bath products your kids love and give them their own bathroom to make bath time feel like a special time for them.

Baby Magic Gentle Baby Lotion

I admit that one of my favorite parts of our baby bathing routine was putting lotion on her little arms and legs. I also apply lotion after taking a shower so this has become part of our current bath time with the kids.

Baby Magic Gentle Baby Lotion is a fast-absorbing lotion that contains antioxidant-rich vitamins and moisturizing aloe for healthy, baby-soft skin.

It also goes well with the Baby Magic Gentle Cleansing Gel, which we use to moisturize and care for my children's skin as they grow up!

Stack of gray towels

There is nothing like wrapping yourself in a fluffy towel after a warm bath.

For a long time I chose the cute towels that went with my children's bathroom decor. But they always wanted to use my towels when they took a bath. So, I highly recommend buying some large towels that are super soft to wrap your kids around after bathing.

It will make bath time a luxury for her. Who doesn't like that?

I find that even as the kids get older, having fun bathing is key to making this happen. With my daughter, adding a bit of luxury also works. She loves bath bombs, soft towels, and lotion.

Don't be afraid to adjust your bath time to work for your family!
