First, print out the pumpkin game board and spinner in color on cardboard. Cut out the spinner and assemble it by attaching the sheet to the center of the spinner with a brad. Now print out a black and white worksheet with the additional sums pumpkin patch for each player.
Students move around the game board with a marker (we like to use Lego minifigures) by turning the spinner and moving the appropriate number. Wherever you land, that is total. Students color a pumpkin on their pumpkin patch worksheet that contains the same total. The game continues to the next person. Keep turning and moving around the game board until you walk through the colorful path and see who has the most pumpkins in their swatch. Or, you can play until one person has inked their entire pumpkin patch.
