Place softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and softened butter in a large bowl.
Beat with an electric mixer until completely combined, about 2 minutes.
You kids can use the mixer with just a little of guidance from you. Trust me, it’s a lot of fun to make this cookie dough dip together.
Then you will add in the powdered sugar and brown sugar.
Beat 1 minute.
Bonus… This can be a fun hands-on activity for learning about time for your child.
Then add the flour, if using. **Ensure it is cooked through to prevent food poisoning.**
Flour MUST be cooked in the microwave for 2 minutes or cooked in the oven at 350F for 10 minutes, stirring once, to kill any bacteria. (I recommend leaving it out)
Mix completely.
Add in the vanilla extract and salt, and then mix
The last step is to add your delicious M&Ms and chocolate chips. The kids’ favorite part!
Serve or refrigerate until ready to serve
Next step is to pick which Halloween Movie to watch, here are our top picks of Halloween Movies and Halloween Games.
Since it’s called Monster Cookie Dough Dip we thought it would be fun to read a few Monster Books for Kids while the dip was chilling.
What does cookie dough go well with?
You can use your edible monster cookie dough as a “dip” with your favorite sturdy crackers, pretzels or even with fruit like apples and pears! If you mix the cookie dough with some cream cheese, it makes a dip with a more “dippable” consistency.
