Teaching kids about various Greek mythologies for kids is fun, easy, and no preparation with these printable books for aspiring readers. Just color, read and learn about ancient Greek culture. These mini-books are great as part of a unit study on Ancient Greece, Greek Mythology, or as a way for children to practice their reading while learning about another culture.
These mini-books come with two cover sheets for children to choose and decorate their own. Then there are six pages about the gods and goddesses behind them. As the children read these books, they will learn about them
To prepare for this little preparation Greek mythology activity, simply print the black and white pages on regular printer paper (to save printer ink) and cut the pages in half before stacking the pages with the cover up and stapling the book together the left side. Since these two children's book mythologies are all black, kids can get creative by decorating the cute clip art images with colored pencils, markers, colored pencils, gel pens, etc., as they see fit.
There are two different books, one on male Greek mythology gods and the other on female Greek mythology names. Additional pages for children to write on could also be added after reading books and doing more research on the subject.
