Christmas Cookie Dip

Having a sweet dip in your arsenal is a must during the holiday season! They work great for last-minute entertaining, for gift exchanges, or your big Christmas dinner! It only takes about ten minutes to make so you can whip it up and put it in the refrigerator to chill while you prep other things!

This dip requires no baking at all! All you do is mix everything together and then let it chill. It is one of the easiest dessert recipes around and it’s always a hit!

You’ll love this no-egg dip recipe because it’s light and fluffy with the perfect level of sweetness! This Christmas cookie dough dip is so easy, the kids can make it on their own too!

Christmas Dip Ingredients & Equipment

You’ll need a few familiar ingredients. You may have most of them in the kitchen already.

  • Cream cheese (softened)
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Vanilla Greek yogurt
  • Red and green sprinkles (or other festive holiday sprinkles)
  • Dippers for your dip (scroll down for ideas!)

You’ll also need the following items from your kitchen:

Christmas Cookie Dip Instructions

This recipe makes about 10 servings! It takes about 5 minutes of prep time and then needs to chill for at least one hour.

In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. You can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer.

Add the Greek yogurt and stir to mix. 

Then fold in the Christmas sprinkles.

Cover and chill the dip in the fridge for at least one hour.

Serve with more sprinkles on top. Serve with your favorite dipping items and enjoy this easy treat!

Leftovers & Storage

You can store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

The dip can be served straight from the fridge if you like. It will be a bit firmer in consistency. If you want it a softer texture, allow it to sit out for about 10 minutes before serving!

Gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, shortbread, and graham crackers are all fantastic with this dip. However, feel free to experiment with your favorites because this dip pairs well with so many different treats!

Can I make this dip in advance? 

Absolutely! You can prepare the Christmas Cookie Dip up to 2 days in advance. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and give it a good stir before serving. Allow it to warm for 10 minutes or so if you want a lighter 

What are some variations of this recipe?

You can change this basic recipe up just by mixing in different ingredients. You can add crushed candy canes for a peppermint twist, mix in some cocoa powder or chocolate chips for a chocolate version, or even incorporate fruit zests like orange or lemon for a citrusy kick.

How can I adjust the consistency of the dip? 

If your dip is too thick, you can thin it out with a splash of milk or heavy cream. If it’s too thin, you can add more cream cheese or powdered sugar to thicken it.
