It’s that time of year again! Thanksgiving is here and with it come the sales we know as Black Friday Deals! It is an excellent chance to stock up on lots of good stuff.
Being frugal doesn’t mean you don’t spend any money, it just means that you spend money strategically. What better way to be frugal than to take advantage of once-a-year sales? Keeping a well-stocked homeschool classroom can be expensive. There are so many supplies and tools you need, not to mention curriculum and books. Rather than wait until the last minute to buy things and having to pay full price for them, why not stock up ahead of time, when prices are low? One thing you could try is to save a set amount each month throughout the year. Then, when the Black Friday Sales start rolling in, use those savings to buy what you will need for your home as well as your homeschool. And you can do it guilt-free because the money is set aside already and you know that you’re getting great deals!
You could even go a step further. Don’t just buy homeschool materials and Christmas items. Buy future birthdays and holiday gifts for friends and family, various memberships, big-ticket items for the home, etc. For example, if you saved just $200 per month over the next year specifically for Black Friday, you could potentially purchase all the gifts for the following year for important people in your life, such as grandparents, co-op teacher gifts, sports coaches, friends, etc.
Below is a list of top retailers and given some examples of their current Black Friday Deals. Now is the time to start shopping! Many more deals can be found on their websites. Keep checking the sites, as deals are updated throughout the month of November.
