Can you use Bisquick instead of flour for breading chicken?
Considering this recipe, the answer is yes! Bisquick can be used in so many different ways which makes it a must-have pantry staple! You will use Bisquick the same as you would flour when making fried chicken.
How do you make batter stick to chicken tenders?
To make the breading stick to your chicken, you want to make sure you have eggs on hand. The egg is essential. You will make an egg mixture that you will dip your chicken tenders in before coating them in the Bisquick breading mixture.
Is Bisquick basically flour?
It is all-purpose flour but with additional ingredients added. It includes leavening ingredients.
How do you make chicken tenders crispy?
One way to get crispy chicken is to bake them on a wire rack that is set on top of the baking sheet. This allows the tenders to cook on all sides and gives your crispier chicken.
Can I make this recipe with chicken breasts?
If you do not have chicken tenderloins you can use chicken breasts to make tenders. Halve your chicken breasts and then cut them in 1½ inch strips to make your own chicken tenderloins.
How do I store leftover chicken tenders?
You can store these in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Let them cool completely before putting them in the fridge.
How do I reheat oven baked chicken tenders?
My favorite way to reheat these chicken fingers is in the air fryer. It helps them crisp up well.
You can reheat them in the oven, air fryer, or toaster oven. I recommend cooking them at 325ºF for 6-8 minutes.
While pancake batter chicken tenders are delicious, you can make so many other things using Bisquick mix. I highly recommend trying some other baking!
You can make Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies and Bisquick Peach Cobbler for dessert!
