Alphabet Candy Corn Puzzles for Kindergarten Teachers

We love to have fun learning! These super cute and fun white, orange, and yellow sweetcorn puzzles are a fun fall activity for kids learning their letters, phonemic awareness, and letter recognition. This Alphabet Candy Corn Puzzles for Kindergarten Teachers are perfect for literacy centers in October and November, additional exercises or additional activities for preschoolers, toddlers, and children.

Print out the alphabet puzzles in color. I recommend printing and / or laminating on cardboard to ensure a long life.

Carefully cut out the ABC puzzles with scissors, then cut apart each colored section. Each puzzle consists of 3 parts:

• white with uppercase and lowercase letters
• Orange with cute alphabet clipart picture
• yellow with picture word for students to work on initial sounds

Phonics activity

You can start with just a few puzzles at a time to make it easier or just to work on the letters your child knows. Have the children choose a picture and say the word. Find the right word for your candy corn puzzle.

Finally, search, find, and add the starting tone of the word above to complete your candy corn puzzle.

Candy Corn Activity

Note: If you have a toddler or preschooler who isn't ready to identify words just yet, you can always leave the yellow and orange sections together and just let the child look for the letter at the beginning of the word.

It will still help enhance the look of the word as well as the tone of the letters.
