If you have a color printer, we have included two types of whale index cards that your children will love.

  • Types of whales - Children will have fun seeing colorful pictures of real whales in the sea. We have included the beluga whale, the blue whale, the dolphin (yes, dolphins are technically classified as whales), humpback whales, gray whales and narwhals (children will have difficulty believing that this animal is real with a 7 foot horn) (also known as the killer whale) and sperm whale.
  • Walk communication - Have you ever watched whales? If you look closely and the whales are cooperative, you can see how whales commit an offense, lobtailing, spyhopping, and logging. Whales and dolphins are so friendly, intelligent and fun animals to watch.

For fun we added coloring pages for whales too! With these printable whale coloring pages, toddlers, preschoolers, preschoolers, kindergartens and first graders can be preoccupied with the material when you dive deeper with older siblings! There's a cute humpback whale and baby side, as well as fun dolphins that do tricks that jump over the water.

Children can use crayons, markers or crayons to design their own beautiful whale.
